Energy Action Plan
In 2017, Mahtomedi began working with Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy to develop an Energy Action Plan (PDF). The City assembled an Energy Action Team that included:
- Community Groups
- Environmental Commission
- Faith Organizations
- Local Businesses
- Representatives From the City
- School District
The team convened to review community energy use data, define an energy vision, set goals, and develop strategies to achieve those goals. The resulting plan outlines tangible steps that move the community towards its priority of reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy conservation. View the Energy Challenge Summary (PDF).
