Advisory Commissions
Various advisory commissions make recommendations to the City Council on finances, planning, parks, and the environment. The City is also a member of several multi-city organizations. The organizations and the City's representatives are listed below:
- Ramsey-Washington Suburban Cable Commission
- White Bear Lake Conservation District

2040 Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan Update Steering Committee includes both City Council members and members from other City advisory boards.

Environmental Commission
Advising the City Council regarding matters of sustainability, solid waste, air, water, land, energy, and other natural resources.

Finance Commission
The Finance Commission advises the City Council on the budget and other financial issues affecting the city.

Park Commission
The Park Commission advises the City Council on park acquisition, park development, and recreational programming.
