The closure includes Mahtomedi City Hall, Public Works, the Fire Department and all Parks Buildings.
The city asks for the public’s patience and understanding of this action. Essential city services will continue without interruption. City employees will be available by telephone and email during the facility closure.
This decision to close city facilities and implement enhanced safety measures was made in collaboration with our public health partners at the local, county and state level with the health and well-being of community members, the Mahtomedi business community, and city staff in mind.
This community mitigation effort is designed to protect the health of city staff and safeguard its ability to deliver services, including emergency access to police, fire and emergency medical service (EMS) response.
The city will provide additional updates as they become available.
