The City’s contractor, Geislinger & Sons, Inc. is planning to open TH 244/Mahtomedi Avenue to full traffic on July 10th or shortly thereafter, depending on the weather. Please continue to follow detour signs as much as possible.
The shaping and grading of Pine Street and Oak Street will begin next week. Curb and gutter is expected to be poured in the southern project area the week of July 13th. Curb needs five-days to cure so please be prepared to have your vehicles out of your garage for five-days. After the first day you will be able to park in front of your house but not cross the curb with your vehicle (on foot is fine, of course). You will receive a doorhanger notice prior to the work taking place to allow time for you to get cars out.
The area north of Quail Street will be placed on a temporary water system late next week in preparation for watermain replacement work. Those who live north of Quail Street will receive either a doorhanger or a knock on their door letting them know about the temporary water system.
As a reminder, the fastest way to get answers to questions on the project is to contact James Collingsworth at the number below via call or text. James will be on site each day. If you don’t hear back from James please then call, email, or text Alex Miller.
