[ARCHIVED] July 23, 2020 Phase 4 West Historic District Project Update

2020 Phase 4 West Construction Update (IMAGE)

The City’s subcontractor, will be installing curb on Neptune, Pine, and Oak Street sometime Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Monday (weather dependent). If you live on these roadways you will receive a notice at your door today, Thursday July 23rd with more details. The district Education Center is available for residents to use as parking during this work. Please do not park on Neptune, Pine, or Oak Street on these days so the contractor has adequate space to work.

Once the curb is placed it requires a five-day cure period. After curb has been installed on both sides of the roadway, vehicles can be parked next to the curb on Neptune and Pine Street and residents can enter their property by stepping over the curb. Oak Street will likely be too narrow to allow parking during the curb curing time.

This curb work, while temporarily inconvenient, will be a big step in completing construction. The contractor expects to pave these roadways within the next two-weeks, weather dependent.
