Public Works will begin hydrant flushing on Monday, May 15th starting on the north end of town and work their way south. Flushing is expected to take two weeks to complete, weather permitting. Flushing can cause turbulence in the water mains and discoloration may result. The water is of good quality, but if discoloration occurs, run the water at an outside faucet until it is clean, usually 10-15 minutes.
