We apologize for the disruption in your service.

Waste Management is experiencing a driver shortage due to the nationwide high demand for CDL drivers.  The shortage has affected the entire trucking industry and is due to a variety of factors including the rapid expansion of home delivery services, an aging driver population, and a deficit of new CDL drivers. For WM, the impacts we are experiencing in the Twin Cities north metro area are greater than we ever anticipated, resulting in delays in collection service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause the residents of Mahtomedi and we ask for your patience and understanding as we work to restore service.  With the shortage of talent for CDL drivers, WM is offering large signing bonuses and increasing wages for frontline workers, along with significant benefits that include educational opportunities.

If you have any questions about your service, you can contact our Customer Service department via email at, via live chat at, or by phone at 1-888-960-0008.
